Joe Korff is the Co-Founder and CEO of Arc Ventures and the Arc Companies, a group active across asset classes and geographies. Trained as a tax lawyer, he has been involved in business formation, deal structuring, business turnarounds, and business growth for several decades. He enjoys assisting entrepreneurs in building their companies with strategic advice and capital.
He and the team have invested in a network of funds and startups across the United States, Canada, Israel and Europe. Their goal always is to provide value beyond their cash investment.
Although he currently focuses on pre-seed, seed, and A rounds, he has invested in stages that have extended from seed to late stage/crossover. Sectors include PropTech, FinTech, Digital Health, BioTech, Pharma, Cyber, Industry 4.0, Entertainment, Social Gaming, and Mobility among others. Of the 72 direct startups he has been involved with through the end of 2024, 25 have had exits. Nearly all the remainder have advanced on their journey.
Joe has functioned as both a tactical and strategic advisor to the companies Arc has invested in. He has done this with the benefit of his own business experience as well as the network he has built up over several decades.
