Biography
Carl Walker began his career as an award-winning computer geek at GE Aerospace, following which he embarked on a legal career spanning more than 25 years. He has been a corporate finance partner at major international law firms leading debt and equity transactions for top tier clients, such as TA Associates, Blackrock Kelso, Thoma Cressey Bravo and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Fund.
Prior to joining Arc, he served as Chief Legal Officer and SVP, Human Resources of a major technology enabled fitness and wellness company with over 4,000 employees.
Today Carl utilizes his corporate finance background as well as deep experience in the fields of HR technology, fitness and wellness to add value to Arc Ventures and its Investment Committee. He also serves as an independent advisor to companies such as Talenya, SelfHelpWorks and MedPro Wellness.
Carl Walker earned his J.D. in Law from Rutgers Law School in 1994 and A.B. in Philosophy from Dartmouth College in 1990.
