Before that, she studied the molecular mechanism underlying PTSD under the close mentorship of Nobel Prize winner Eric Kandel at Columbia University’s Mind Brain Behavior Institute.
Amsal holds a bachelor’s from Columbia University, where she studied neuroscience. On the weekends, she is likely training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or teaching philosophy at NYC’s metropolitan detention center.
