Sydney Olson is a Venture Analyst at Arc Ventures – she joined the firm in the Fall of 2023. At Arc, her role primarily involves identifying new investment opportunities, conducting thorough analyses of potential investments, and supporting portfolio companies in securing additional funding. Before joining Arc, Sydney worked as a research assistant at the Bick Lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she gained valuable experience in clinical research and healthcare. During her time there, she focused on the advancements of precision medicine in the context of blood diseases.
Sydney’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Biology from UNC Chapel Hill. She initiated a student organization called Letters from Rameses at UNC. This organization is dedicated to uplifting the spirits of hospital patients through handwritten letters.
